Vicino allo stile della Transavanguardia si colloca il piccolo quadro di Ugo Bongarzoni intitolato L’onda lunga dopo la tempesta , pittore da tempo operante sul territorio romano e attento osservatore dei significati iconografici delle opere. In questa, ad esempio, l’albatros ha una valenza nobile e spirituale, opposta alla furia violenta delle onde e dei flutti..
