Commento sull’opera Victoria Concordiae di Ugo Bongarzoni

Mi piacciono molto i colori del dipinto perché sono scuri e danno tonalità al dipinto, altrimenti il contrasto con gli altri elementi sarebbe meno marcato. Il verde dell’erba non disturba la composizione perché è sfumato con il blu e nero circostante. Personalmente, però, avrei preferito un colore più chiaro per il cielo in questo particolare soggetto, poiché, secondo me, il simbolo della Concordia dovrebbe essere più luminoso e solare. Apprezzo la tridimensionalità  materica del panneggio poiché permette al fruitore di percepire meglio la peculiarità dell’esecuzione.

I really like the colors of the painting because they are dark and give tonality to the painting, otherwise the contrast with the other elements would be attenuated. The green grass does not disturb the composition because it is blended with the blue and black colours surroundings. Personally, though, I would have preferred a lighter color for the sky in this particular subject, because, on my opinion, the Concordia symbol should be bright and sunny. I appreciate the three-dimensionality in the drapery of the subject because it allows the user to better perceive the peculiarity of the artistic execution.
